Mixed weather in Dublin heralded The Wedding Salon at The Merrion Hotel last Saturday, 22nd March but as I arrived the red carpet was being rolled out to welcome the lucky ladies who had been invited to attend. Inside, there was a flurry of activity as one would expect, but everything seemed to be very well organised and progressing efficiently.
The Merrion is a wonderful Georgian building nestling in the very heart of Dublin on Upper Merrion Street, opposite Government Buildings, and unlike some 5 star luxury hotels, it certainly does not shout its presence with it restrained and dignified facade. Continue reading

The return to classic, stylish wedding invitations. When the photograph of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding invitation was leaked, the biggest surprise for many was how stylish it was. A simple deep grey coloured, textured card with gold foil blocked writing. Elegant and eye-catching at the same time.
